Find Help, Find Hope!

McLean County Exercise Volunteers Needed

The McLean County Health Department invites you to serve as a volunteer in an exercise designed to test our ability to quickly and efficiently dispense medications in the event of a large-scale public health emergency. During the exercise, we simulate an emergency environment while volunteers, acting as members of the public, visit the Point of Dispensing site (POD) for medication.

When: September 14th, 8:15 a.m. — 11:30 am
Where: Illinois State University Redbird Arena
(702 West College Avenue, Normal, IL)

To sign up, volunteers age 18 years or older, select one of three available shifts by visiting one of the links, below:

On the day of the exercise, volunteers attend a 30-minute training at the Hancock Stadium Club (211 North Main Street, Normal, IL) prior to their shift. Volunteers must participate for the duration of their shift.

We encourage all residents to participate and will have accommodations for volunteers with mobility or communication needs.

Thank you for helping prepare our community for a public health emergency.
